Windows 10: get e-mail in sub folders from wherever

I AM NOW GETTING JUNK MAIL IN MY SUB FOLDERS IN MY E-MAIL ACCOUNT

  Where are you trying to create a sub folder is it on mail app or other application?
  

If it is mail app, unfortunately there is no option to create a sub folder in Mail app, I would suggest you to share your feedback in Windows Feedback app.

 

new e-mail counter only showing new e-mail in inbox not showing sub folders

When I receive e-mail that is by using a rule delivered in a sub folder instead of the inbox itself it does not show up under new e-mail or in the new e-mail counter.

I am using MS BPOS and Win7.5

Am I missing a setting?

Don't quite understand your answer. Shouldn't the sub folders download the email that are on the server? I have about 20 sub-folders under the "Inbox", but they are all empty. Why??? Never had to do what you suggested before.
