Windows 10: Get Help App - Weird chat URL?

Hi All-I was trying to get account support, I was directed to use the "Get Help" app. It auto opened from one of the Microsoft websites. I noticed when the chat opened in Microsoft Edge, it was from the URL "https://widget.rave.office.net/chat removing the rest Is this a legit Microsoft website? I only had a brief chat about general questions, no personal information was ever requested. Unfortunately, I cannot really find a great answer to this question using google searches.Does anyone else get this URL when they open a case with the get help app?Thanks!

What is the exact model of your phone? Depending on the model of your phone, you may try these steps to fix the issue.



1. Check that the Internet connection is up and working. If your phone has a WiFi capability, try using the Chat application via WiFi.If it doesn't have WiFi, verify that Data service is working by browsing the mobile web.



2. Are you using a preinstalled Chat application or it was downloaded from the Store?



- If it's a downloaded app, try removing it and redownloading it from the Store.

• For S40 devices, go to Menu, and then
  Applications, and then Extras, select Chat, hit
  Options, and then Remove/ Delete.
  
• For Asha Touch phones, go to Menu, and then
  Files, select My Apps, press and hold the
  Chat application, choose Delete.
  
• For Lumia devices, from the Start screen, go to the
  App list, Press and hold the Chat application, and then Uninstall.
  
• For S60 and Symbian devices, go to Menu, then
  Settings, choose Application Manager, select the
  Chat application, hit Options or press and hold the app, then
  Remove.

Windows 10 xbox app party chat not working.

Hi Noah,

For us to better isolate this issue, kindly provide us the following information below:

• Can you tell us if you're using a child account?
• May I know if you were able to join party chat on another computer while using the same account?
• Can you tell us the troubleshooting steps that you have tried so far?

In the meantime, I recommend that you try using another Xbox account in the Xbox app and check if you will be able to join party chat. This will help us to determine if the issue is within the app or on the account that you're using.
