    don't know if this is the right place for a question like this but:first, I have a virus report from windows defender with a threat id. For example this is the threat id of the eicar testfile: "2147519003".When I google just this id, the first hit is this site from microsoft that explanes the threat. Thats exactly what I am looking for. But now to my problem.How can I search for a differend threat id on the microsoft site? When looking in the url, I can see that there should be a malware-encyclopedia "https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/wdsi/threats/malware-encyclopedia-description

    Persistent Threat Message in Virus & Threat Protection in Windows 10

    Hi,

    I have recently uninstalled CCleaner from my PC.

    Under Current Threats in Virus & Threat Protection, I keep getting the message that there's a threat from AppGet virus/threat information from microsoft via threat id :piriform_CCleaner.

    I've tried the option to Remove this but even after a re-boot the message remains.

    Can someone please suggest how to resolve this?

    virus and threat protection

    Virus and threat protection has stopped and will not restart, Windows 10 ver 1709, antimalware client ver 4.12.16299.15 . SuperAntiSpyware installed.

    I have tried most of the suggestions from the support pages, all have been ineffective. Any suggestions
