    Yeah. That's what I say. What? I am using windows 10 Home edition version 1511 HP laptop 64 bit 8 gb ram 500 gb hd. I recently reinstalled windows and am experiencing very slow and sometimes incomplete downloads. I checked errors and read that my connection shows "Getchar Socket abruptly closed". I am lost here. I have current updates installed. Have troubleshot everything I can think of. I've run virus scanner. I've updated drivers. I've stopped any unnecessary services. I've uninstalled unused bloatware and programs. I first noticed my page loading time taking longer than before but it's terrible now. I have checked the hd and it checks out. the laptop is only a year old. I have searched online for an answer but it's all been Greek to me so far. I'm the only user so I can't blame anyone for this problem but me. Any helpful advice will be greatly appreciated.

    Closing Network Sockets

    I was practicing using TCP connections in C# but I was stupid and never closed my sockets after I was done.

    Now I have about two hundred sockets open on my loopback.

    How can I close these without restarting my PC?
    They are all listed under the System Image in the resource monitor.

    Edge closes abruptly

    After the latest Windows 10 update I have noticed that Edge closes abruptly at intermittent times. I have not noticed a pattern except that it might be while in Facebook. What can I do to resolve this matter?
