    Hi,So I have recently purchased a new Windows 11 laptop. I want to install older software, from disk, but in most cases this fails with a 1355 cab corrupt error. I have also noticed, using other tools, that the cabs are showing up as having checksum errors.These disks all work on Vista, but they fail to install on Windows 11.I need a way to bring these cabs up to date, because apparently Microsoft has done some that is completely incompatible in the upgrade cycle:Either:1 - older versions of the decompression for cab files allowed these errors to occur.2 - the current decompression algorithm

    Data1.cab. question

    I have been trying to load some software onto my new Windows 10 computer (it worked on my old Windows 7 computer).

    I keep getting the following message

    Error 1311. Source file not found:

    C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Temp\7zOF7DB.tmp\Data1.cab. Verify that the file exists and that you can access it.

    As I have previously stated this software worked on my old W7 computer and on my new W10 computer I can't load it!

    What can I do?

    Disk Read Errors

    OK, earlier, I got a BSOD. Now I'm getting disk read errors. The error on the BSOD was 0x00000F4, and now, when I load up the system, it posts, does everything, then, just beofre it would start loading Windows, it comes up with:

    Disk read error
    Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart.

    Any ideas? I kinda need to get it working ASAP...

    system error 1355

    I tried to delete a user account using cmd and it showed me 'System error 1355.....' . i am logged in as an admin, and I cannot understand why i cannot delete the user account. Please help me
