    Getting a sign in from Internet Explorer showing up in my login history whenever I sign in...


    Hi this has happened before and stopped but it has started happening again.When I start up my computer for the first time each day it asks me to enter my password which I do. I also do daily checks for things like this in the at account.microsoft site in my browser. Today however it shows a successful sign in which I have timed Multiple times in fact to coincide with me entering my password when I start my computer up, and under Browser/Application it says Internet Explorer. It does not do this if I am offline, probably obvious but still relevant.I do not, have never, nor will ever, use Inte

    Hi,

    I appreciate if you could answer to a few questions to narrow down to the issue.

    • What exactly happens when you try to sign in?
    • Is the issue specific to a particular website?
    • Did you try the same from a different browser?
    • Did you install any third party security application?
    As an initial troubleshooting step, I suggest you to clear the browsing history cookies and caches and check if the devices are reflecting under the account.

    No history in Internet Explorer

    Good observation.. and check Bree's useful suggestion on days to keep.
    There's no easy way to transfer settings or data from user to user - this involves registry settings and folder structures and permissions, and even how programs were originally installed- to start for all users or current user.
