    I'm stuck pretty damn bad right now with my situation. I updated my computer few days ago and ever since then I'm having so many problems. I keep getting the watchdog violation. It mainly began when I tried to play Madden, and Origin opens up and then the computer would freeze. If I go to recovery in settings, there is a very high chance it'll freeze. I've tried to update the SATA AHCI Controller, but it freezes. The driver for that is the storachi.sys one. I have no idea what to do anymore. After a million attempts to I did manage to install WhoCrashed and I got the following:

    I am feeling kind of hopeless. I got no idea what to do. Even in recovery mode the computer freezes

    Check (enable) it then do Step #5 & test.

    The above notwithstanding...

    Are you still getting the DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION BSODs or...?

    Hello Tom,

    There may be several reasons why you are getting this DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION. To assist you better with this concern, kindly answer the following questions:

    • When did this issue started happening?
    • Does this error come with an error code/number?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you done aside from the ones mentioned above?

    In the meantime, you can check on this

    and refer to the post of ZigZag3143 (MS -MVP). It discusses steps on what you can do with these kinds of stop errors.
