Windows 10: Getting app to recognize a "mouse click" when Surface is in Tablet mode

I have seen related posts but none exactly answering this, so reposting:I have a textbook reading website Pearson etextbook that successfully pulls up a customized context-specific menu for highlighting and taking notes when I click to highlight text using the mouse. When I hold to highlight using the touchscreen, all I get is the standard windows "copy text" option. I have read elsewhere online that neither tapping nor holding in touch screen mode are technically the same as a mouse click. Is there a way to change setting so that tapping and holding is recognized as a mouse-click? I underst

How do I get back tablet mode? Problem in changing to tablet mode on Nextbook 10

Hello,

• Did you tried to turn ON the Tablet mode from Action Center?
• Do you get any error message?

I suggest you to try the steps below and check if this helps you in turning ON Tablet mode.

There are two options to turn ON the Tablet mode.

Option 1:

• Open Settings, and click/tap on the System icon.
• Click/tap on Table Mode on the left side, and turn on or off
  Enable tablet mode for what you want.

Option 2:

• Click/tap on the Action Center system icon in the taskbar notification area.
  
• At the bottom of the Action Center, click/tap on the Tablet mode button to toggle it
  on (blue) or off (gray) for what you want.

Tablet Mode doesn't automatically turn on

We suggest you to follow the below steps to make the tablet mode permanent:

• Click start and select settings.
• Select settings and then select tablet mode.
• Now you have different options to choose from, please choose settings that suits you.

ARC Mouse locking up Surface Win 10 Tablet

To better assist you with your concern, I'd like to know the following:

• Confirm which build is currently installed on your device. To check, follow the steps below:

• Press Windows key + R, then type in winver.
• Click OK.

• Were there any recent changes made prior to this issue?
• What is the exact of your Surface device?
• Please clarify that the issue is about the ARC Bluetooth Mouse somehow locks your computer and sends you to the lockscreen.
