Getting Black Screen In Windows 10 After 12 hours

I have no power off settings enabled. Hard drive stays on and monitors stay on.But when I leave the computer on over night, the next morning I get a black screen and cannot get a locked logon screen or nothing. Even Ctrl-Alt-Del does nothing and I have to reset with the reset button. The last logs I see in the event viewer are these. These are shown at 5pm the previous day but I was able to logon on to it after that. What is causing this lock up?

    :)

    Black screen after Windows update.

    Hi Crystel,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

    • Were you able to get to the desktop screen after you restarted the system?
    • When the screen was blank, were you able to see the cursor on the screen?
    • Did you get any error code or error message?

Please get back to us with answers to above questions, for us to suggest the appropriate troubleshooting steps.

Meanwhile, I suggest to try the steps mentioned in the article below and let us know if it helps.
