    Getting blue screen and can’t update


    Alright guys I have given up. Currently on Windows 10 1809 and trying to update to 1909 and every time I try to update it fails. I have tried all SFC and Dism commands in cmd in safe mode and in normal mode, I have tried clean booting and using windows media creation tool. I have tried windows update trouble shooter, I have tried system restore and reset (both fail). I have tried even replying laptop to different outlet because I heard it could be a faulty outlet. I feel like nothing is literally working. Also through this process I have been getting CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED errors constantly and for some reason every time I highlight text it does some weird thing and doesn’t highlight the text and sometimes my mouse double clicks when I click once. Please Guys i’m begging for help it’s a 1,700$ laptop and don’t wanna lose it. I wish I could take it to a repair shop but all of them are closed.

    would like to know more about the issue. Please clarify the following:

    • Did you get a STOP code?
    • Did you install any hardware or driver recently?

    Startup Blue Screen

    Hi Jon,

    Startup blue screen error(s) can occur if a problem causes your PC to shut down or restart unexpectedly. It could be due to the following:

    • Outdated device software drivers
    • Corrupted Windows update system files
    • Software/Security conflicts

    We would like to know some information:

    • Did you get any blue screen stop error codes?
    • Have you tried booting in Safe mode?

    Before we proceed I would like you to answer the following question:

    • could you please mention the exact error message that you are getting?
    The issue might occur due to Viruses, or something changing/deleting in Registry Files, a failure during Bootup, or a corrupt file which could be due to age of a computer or viruses or somebody tampering with files.
