    Getting BSOD Error Kernel_Security_Check_Failure


    I am using a Laptop Zephyrus G15 GA503RW added my own 16gb stick for a total of 24gb ram and a 2tb SSD and everytime I unplug and go on battery, I bluescreen after around 5 mins or so with the error Kernel_Security_Check_Failure. This BsOD error ONLY HAPPENS ON BATTERY. It runs completely fine while plugged in. I have also tried Driver Verifier and it flagged vgk.sys.     Kernel_security_check_failure bsod


    A few months back I built my first PC, since then I've intermittently been experiencing BSOD crashes.

    My computer crashes to a BSOD with the KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE error message but I've also rarely had the following BSODs:


    • DRIVER_VERIFIER_DETECTED_VIOLATION
    • MEMORY_MANAGEMENT
    • SPECIAL_POOL_DETECTED_MEMORY

    That being said it's nearly always the KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE error; the other messages haven't happened more than once or twice each.

    I've attached the DM Log but I'm fairly new at this so please let me know if there is any other information that would help fix this.

    Getting BSOD 0x124 error

    Ignore what everone said here.

    0x124 BSOD is usually related to VCCIO (VTT), run Prime95 version 26.6 with custom sizes of 512K to 640K with 50% of your memory for at least 8 hours.

    If you get a 0x124 BSOD, increase VCCIO voltage by small steps, run Prime95 again until your stable.

    If you pass Prime95 512K to 640K without a BSOD, then its Vcore too low. I'd suggest running IntelBurnTest with 80% of your memory to verify stability (8 to 12 hours).

    Oh, and yeah, if this problem appeared all of the sudden, the reason is CPU degradation, you can prevent it by enabling C-States or adjust your overclock to use lower voltages.

    BSOD KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE (139)

    I've completed the steps. The third time running it it automatically opened recovery mode. None of the times it crashed a specific driver was mentioned on the BSOD itself.

    It created a single new minidump which I've added to the folder (BSOD KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE).
