    Getting BSOD without dump file being created.

    For some time now about 6 months I am getting blue screens of death randomly. Some days I don't, other days I get two BSOD's quickly after one another. The blue screen error shown is 'CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED' but the collecting of error information is stuck at 0%. When I start Windows again, I see an event in the Event log saying: 'Dump file creation failed due to error during dump creation.'. With nothing more. And there are indeed no dump files created. My settings are set to create minidumps.

    • I already did a clean install of windows files and programs removed as well and this has not resolved the problem.
    • I updates the BIOS and my driver software to no avail.
    • I have no disk cleaner software like CCleaner installed

    Windows information:

    Version: Windows 10 pro 1909 OS Build 18363.1139

    I have a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050


    I am out of ideas and starting to get hopeless because I still haven't found the solution to my problem. Any help is greatly appreciated. I will try to provide all the information you need.

    BSODs with no dump file created

    I get a UNEXPECTED_STORE_EXCEPTION bsod whenever I'm playing Apex Legends or while using Origin launcher.The the main issue I'm facing is that there are not dump files created after this bsod.I have setup my dump config according to this thread:Intermittent BSODs with no dump file created
    I also tested it using a manual crash in Who Crashed and the dump was successfully created for this crash but it doesnt work for UNEXPECTED_STORE_EXCEPTION. Please help

    Driver verifier not creating dump file

    I'm getting frequent BSOD. I started the driver verifier as suggested.

    At first, windows stuck at the boot loop, It didn't even show any BSOD. It just kept booting and turning off again and again. It didn't go past motherboard logo.

    After some changes in the verifier, It was able to show windows logo but crashed before fully booting to "Driver verifier detected violation"

    And it didn't even create any dump file. (All dump file setting are correct one ) As it is known that a driver is causing BSOD. How to know which one?

    Getting BSOD without dump file being created.

    BSOD - No dump files are created

    I forced a crash with the kayboard ctrl+2*blockscroll and it dumped...

    For the records I did this: *Windows Error Reporting (WER) system service should be set to MANUAL

    It was on auto, now is manual(trigger).

    If I got on a BSOD "naturally" with a critical_process_died error (it's my usual bsod error) and it does not dump I'll get back here, for now is resolved.
