KernelBase.dll is broken constant BSOD's constant game crashing.

    Hi Darry,

User Profile corruption is one of the possible reasons why you are experiencing constant BSOD's on your computer. You mentioned that you ran the
System File Checker (SFC) tool, but is still getting a stop code. To further troubleshoot the issue, we suggest that you create a new User Profile and check if the issue persists.

To create a user profile, follow these steps:

    • Go to Settings. Click Accounts.
    • Select Family & other people.
    • Select the Add someone else to this PC tab.
    • Name the user as Test.
    • Leave the password field blank.
    • Hit Next.
    • Sign in as Test user.

You may also check this link

  3. HELP ! BSOD with brand new computer.

    Hi,

I just bought a brand new computer running with Windows 10.

When I first turned it on, I had a BSOD within 1min. I had to do a "hard" restart because it crashed again when it restarted.

While I was doing the initial configuration, it may have crashed 3 times more. Then, I started to install the usual software (Office, Adobe, Anti-virus...) and it crashed again at least twice.

I did all the steps that are listed here.

Below is the OneDrive link to the zipped folder:

    Files_dmp.zip

There should be the last three .dmp file, the system info and the computer specification.

If you need any other information, please let me know.

Thank you for your help !

    Brand New PC, Constant BSODs

    Hi there.
So I bought a PC (pre-built) that had already had an iGPU. I installed another (dedicated) GPU I had from the PC I had built myself a while back but didn't use at all. Here are the specs:
    • Gigabyte B460M DS3H w/ Wi-Fi
    • Intel i7-10700 Processor @2.9 GHz with iGPU - Intel UHD Graphics 630
    • Lexar 500GB M.2 NMME
    • ThermalTake 430W 80 + White PSU
    • 8GB x 2 HyperX Fury DDR4 RAM (non-RGB version)
    • Came pre-installed with Windows 10 Home

Here is the link for the PC I purchased: Welcome - Canada Computers & Electronics

The GPU I had installed was the ASUS GeForce GTX 1650 Phoenix OC 4GB.

The problem I am running into with this PC is constant BSODs. I don't know what is happening. I tried a BIOS update, which was needed. That worked fine. At the time, I couldn't even get into Windows. It would simply freeze on startup (the dots going in a circle literally froze). If and when Windows tried doing an automatic repair, it would BSOD. Still BSoDs with varying codes. I removed the GPU, thinking that it was the main culprit in my system crashing since it didn't come with the PC and I installed it myself.

Once removed, and using the HDMI on the MoBo, I was able to update the computer through Windows Settings. But then after a few moments of working OK after one update, another BSOD. It wasn't as frequent with just the iGPU, but still happening. I don't think the dGPU is the problem, but I am not sure. I also managed to upate the drivers for the dGPU with GeForce Experience. So, I put it back in.

Anyway, I shutdown everything, open up the computer, and make sure all the connections and components are OK. I checked the RAM, dedicated GPU, took a look at the motherboard and the m.2 SSD. All seem to be in working order. A few of the errors I got on the BSOD screen that I can recall were:

    - 0x0000008E KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
    - 0x000000D1 IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
    - ATTEMPTED_EXECUTE_OF_NOEXECUTE_MEMORY
    - WHEA_INTERNAL_ERROR
    - 0xC000021A

Sometimes, I even get an incomplete BSOD. Like the BSOD itself doesn't load entirely. Or a BSOD in the middle of restarting the system.

Right now, all I can do is maybe get into Windows (if it hasn't BSOD'ed already) and use the computer for a bit (not doing anything intensive, just looking at System Info or Settings) and then boom, 15-20 minutes later another BSOD. Could the iGPU and dGPU be conflicting at all with each other and causing this? Is it a driver issue? RAM? CPU? PSU?

I am at my wits end here. I don't know what to do. I spent over 6 hours trying to figure it out last night. Please help. I just wanted to do something nice for my partner since they have always wanted a PC of their own to do some light gaming on. I look at the screen longer than 10 minutes and another dang BSOD. Frustrating.

Windows Version: 20H2 (OS Build: 19042.746)
