Windows 10: Getting CredSSP encryption oracle remediation error when connecting to a machine I just...

I used this method to upgrade a Windows 8.1 machine to Windows 10. Everything seemed to go smoothly except I can no longer remote into said machine using Remote Desktop.

When I connect using the RDP client on another Windows 10 machine, I get this error.

This page describes a solution, but it seemed less-than-desirable since it has you changing a setting to 'Vulnerable' (ouch!). I tried researching some updates and installed one from 2018 that was supposedly related to this problem. No luck. I've run any available and optional updates and rebooted. No luck.

I finally gave in and changed the aforementioned setting to 'Vulnerable', yet I still can't connect to the machine with RDP even after a reboot.

Anyone have any suggestions, save for a clean wipe and fresh install of Windows 10?

I just got this error : CredSSP encryption oracle remediation when i try to remote desktop to a server which install window 2008 R2.

Just happen after update system.





How can i fix it?
