Windows 10: Getting Error Code 0x80070002 when attempting to add an outlook.com Email address to Mail

After a recent restart of my pc my outlook.com addresses were missing from the mail app. So I tried to add them again, but I keep getting an Error Message (Something Went wrong, Error Code: 0x80070002). Gmail Accounts are possible to be added. (Login via web outlook.com is also still possible)


What I tried already to solve this issue:


I tried to troubleshoot Windows Update and Windows App Store Apps - No Resolution

I tried the DSIM Fixing and SCM /scannow fixing - No Resolution

I Installed Windows Updates - No Resolution

I Reset, Uninstalled, Reinstalled the Mail & Calendar App - No Resolution


What I didn't tried yet (and would like to avoid):

Reset Windows


I have run out of ideas (I went through most of the microsoft.com questions and tried their solutions, but nothing seem to have helped)


Is there a way to get a more detailed error message? I guess something is missing in my %APPDATA% or maybe a Permission there is missing (I might have "accidentily" deleted some temporary and cache folders in APPDATA before that)

Delete mails in Outlook but want to keep mails untouch in webmail

When I deleted an email in outlook and my webmail got deleted too. I want to keep all the inbox mails from the webmail even I complete deleted in outlook. I spend hrs can't think it out how. Any step by step instruction? I'm using IMAP account btw. Thanks and Merry Christmas.

 

How do I get Outlook 2010 to export the correct address book


I have three options listed in Outlook when I try to export a CSV contact list from the address book.. Myself, another person, and the 'Outlook Data File'. I am the default person.

When you open the address book, the choice that has the current contacts is my name-contacts. When you go to the export file section, it is called suggested contacts. If I export this file and open it in excel, it shows names and street addresses with no email address listed. There are also names in the file that are no longer in my address book.

How do I get the address book to export the current list from my address book, and how do I get the excel file to show the email address?

 

Email addresses in People app does not open up in the mail app


I have windows 10. Previously in the people app when you clicked on a persons email you had the option to open the email in the mail app. Now when I click on any persons email whether it is gmail or outlook et al, it no longer gives me a choice to open in the mail app.... rather it just opens up my browser. This is for every email address I have in the people app. One more thing for your clarification. The mail app is synced with the people app because when I insert a name in the "to" box, the email addresses from the contact list show up as options. So I don't think this is a syncing issue. The problem is that you can't use the people app to email anyone because all it does is open up a browser when you click on the emaill address in the people app. Any Suggestions?
