Windows 10: Getting error code 0x80070002 when installing latest cumulative update

Hello community , Today i have clean installed windows 10 after a week of trying windows 11 in beta channel , after clean installing , i have checked for updates and there were many driver updates which updated successfully , but this : 2021-08 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 21H1 for x64-based Systems KB5005033 has problem installing , it presents me with the error code : 0x80070002 . Why is this error coming even though i did a clean install . Error 0x80070002 when trying to update Windows

I have been having issues for months with Windows 10 updates failing due to Error 0x80070002 on my gaming laptop. The full message reads:

2019-06 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1803 for x64-based Systems (KB4503286) -Error 0x80070002.

I am currently on version 1803 (OS Build 17134.590) and I'm being told "You're currently running a version of windows that's nearing the end of support. We recommend you update to the most recent version of Windows 10 now to get the latest features and security improvements."

I have followed the instructions on Error Code 0x80070002 Fixed – Eassos Step-by-Step Tutorial but this hasn't resolved the problem. Does anybody know how to fix this?

 

Error code 0x80070002 while downloading cumulative updates

I have build 2004 installed and the July / August cumulative updates will not install, failing with error code 0x80070002. This happens regardless of whether I use the update option or directly download from the Windows Update Catalogue

I have tried the solutions on the web pages related to troubleshooting Windows update errors. There are no issues in device manager.

Any suggestions on how to solve?

 

0x80070002 error code in windows update

My windows 10 version is Home, 20H2. Build 19042.630I'm trying to download cumulative update KB4592438. I keep getting 0x80070002 error code.






I also ran the windows troubleshooter and it says that it fixed the issue, but I still keep getting the same error. Here's the detailed report.



I also did multiple reboots of my laptop. I ran sfc/scannow but it didn't find any errors. What should I do to resolve this issue?
