Windows 10: Getting error message "MSVCP100.dll is missing..."

    Getting error message "MSVCP100.dll is missing..."


    Started happening after the WIN 10 upgrade. Attempting to start half of my programs leads to 3 popups of the same thing saying "The program can't start because MSVCP100.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem." I have all of them and tried repairing each one and tried to reinstall a few of the programs but it's still happening.

    "MSVCP100.dll is missing"

    RUNNING WINDOWS 10, EVERY TIME I PLUG IN THE POWER CHARGER I GET A "MSVCP100.dll is missing" ERROR i HAVE DOWNLOADED A MSVCP100.dll BUT DONT KNOW WHERE TO PASTE IT.

    Windows 10 update KB3116900 installed 12/8/2015 causing numerous errors and problems.

    W10 update is causing error "MSVCP100.dll is missing" and "coloruserv.exe is not working" error on Asus D550M machine, immediately occurred following this update KB3116900.

    Are you sure you have them all, including SP1 & Hotfix?
    Download Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 SP1 Redistributable Package (x64) from Official Microsoft Download Center
    Download Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86) from Official Microsoft Download Center
    Download Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package MFC Security Update from Official Microsoft Download Center

    If it's still not working, find MSVCP100.dll and copy it to the problematic app's folder. (not recommended)

    It's happening with a few but the most recent is Dragon Age: Origins and the rest of the Origin game client with it.
    I'm currently reinstalling all of the above to see if it helps.
