    Getting File System Error -2147219196 on Photos app


    I am getting File system error -2147219196 while trying to open photos using Photos app, I tried almost all the already available solutions on Internet but none of the solution worked, I clean installed windows 11 again using latest iso image and it was working fine until I installed new KB updates of January 2024, issue occurred again after updates installed, I uninstalled all the updates but still the issue persists, please help me.

    Microsoft Photos File System Error -2147219196

    After installing the Windows 10 Update 1909 update, my Photos app automatically shuts down with the file system error -2147219196 whenever I try to open an image file. Similar threads
    suggested resetting or repairing the Photos app or re-installing the app entirely but none worked for me. I will be glad to get any help.

    how to fix file system error (-2147219196)

    I just did the .reg from the tutorial, and I now get this in Default Apps as a choice. You may want to re-visit what you did in the tutorial.
