I’ve been encountering multiple Blue Screen of Death BSOD errors, including Memory Management, Critical Process Died, KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR and Unexpected Store Exception. This issue started about a year ago, but at that time, I replaced my hard disk. Getting BSOD 0x124 error

Ignore what everone said here.

0x124 BSOD is usually related to VCCIO (VTT), run Prime95 version 26.6 with custom sizes of 512K to 640K with 50% of your memory for at least 8 hours.

If you get a 0x124 BSOD, increase VCCIO voltage by small steps, run Prime95 again until your stable.

If you pass Prime95 512K to 640K without a BSOD, then its Vcore too low. I'd suggest running IntelBurnTest with 80% of your memory to verify stability (8 to 12 hours).

Oh, and yeah, if this problem appeared all of the sudden, the reason is CPU degradation, you can prevent it by enabling C-States or adjust your overclock to use lower voltages.

 

Frequent Random BSOD, KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR and INACCESSIBLE_BOOT..

Hi all,

I have been getting frequent BSOD over the past 3 months or so, I run "chkdsk /f /r" once or twice a week via the "assist" button boot drive cmd to get it less often. I tried running sfc but it stops halfway, I tried updating it via safe mode but I couldn't.

Today (2/14/2017) I got a BSOD KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR while updating a modpack for Minecraft, At the restart I immediately got the BSOD INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE 3 times in a row, Windows repaired itself and booted up normally after that.

I get BSOD mostly when I watch videos on websites and also when playing a minecraft modpack, I play steam games also but no BSOD there.

My device manager says all drivers are up to date, I am unable to read the Memory.dmp file (too noob [Getting page missing or something with WinDbg]). Should I attach my latest Memory.dmp file?

Random but frequent BSOD after idling for some time.

Hello, our computers in computer labs with Dell OptiPlex 7470 often run into BSODs after certain amount of idle time. Below are the common errors we see:

• KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR
  
• CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED
  
• SYSTEM_SERVICE_ERROR
  

These are domain-joined computers, running with same Windows master image deployed through Clonezilla.

Their occurrence seems random and without pattern, one computer can show BSODs with these respective errors at different times.

Below are the steps we tried:

• chkdsk /f /r /x
  
• dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth: no error found
  
• sfc /scannow: no error found
  

(The above three commands in order)

• Hibernate and Fast Startup is disabled
  
• Power Management for screen, hard disk, computer set to never sleep in any scenario
  
• C-state control disabled in BIOS
  
• Scanned disk for any errors using the software, CrystalDiskInfo.
  
• Windows Memory Diagnostic (shows no error found)
  
• Driver Verifier (unsure of how to continue using it after its BSOD showing Verifier found violations)
  
• Cleaned and reseated RAM
  
• Swapped with SSD with same Windows image.
  
• Pulled out one of the workstations out to test environment and installed with clean windows image, does not have BSOD issue.
  

But the problem seems to be re-occurring every now and then even after all these steps.

Below I am attaching a screenshot of output of msinfo32 and all the dump files we had in one of the workstations.
