Windows 10: getting inaccesable boot device BSOD when adding windows features

i have a laptop running Windows 11 and i wanted to install the Android subsystem so i tried to add it along with the Windows virtual machine platform and hypervisorafter adding these features I get an "inaccessible boot device" BSOD error and the only way to revert is to start into safe mode because it said it couldn't add the features so does a rollback. "INACCESIBLE BOOT DEVICE" problems

Just started having "INACCESIBLE BOOT DEVICE" problems with my HP laptop when starting. Current wisdom seems to say this was related to upgrading to 10, but I upgraded a year ago. I did use upgrade instead of full install. Some statements here indicate
that not upgrading, rather than full install, leads to this problem after adding 10. What gives??

The INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE bug check frequently occurs because of a boot device failure. During I/O system initialization, the boot device driver might have failed to initialize the boot device (typically a hard disk).

You may follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• Run Chkdsk /f /r on the system partition. You must restart the computer before the disk scan begins. If you cannot start the computer because of the error, use the Recovery Console and run Chkdsk /r.
  
• If you cannot start the system in the last known good configuration, you should try to start off the Windows CD. Then, you can run Chkdsk from the Repair Console.
