Getting random black screens for a second or two since upgrading to a new TV!

This issue has been driving me nuts for a solid week now... I am fairly knowledgeable when it comes to computers. Yet, I can't seem to figure this out. Unless it's a defective TV.I am on Windows 10 Home edition, with an Nvidia RTX 3070 as my GPU. My previous TV was a TCL 43" 4k/60hz. Upgraded to a 55" TCL 4k/120hz. On my previous TV I only ever had an occasional black screen flash happen, but ONLY when something with a video would try to play. Which I assumed could be my GPU just being a bit weird. It never happened when I was just sitting on the desktop though. With the new TV.

    :)

  2. Random Black Screen

Just upgraded to the current mobo, cpu and memory in my system. When I finished loading the mobo drivers, I went ahead and updated my catalyst drivers to 8.11. That's when I started getting random black screens every couple of minutes. *Confused Getting random black screens for a second or two since upgrading to a new TV! System didn't restart, screen would just go black for a couple of seconds, then go back to normal. Did this randomly. Updated catalyst to 8.12 - same problems. *Wtf :wtf: Ran drivecleaner (whatever it's called, the one from guru3d), and reloaded the 8.12 drivers. Still no fix. Uninstalled the mobo drivers and cool n' quiet, rebooted, and attempted to reload these drivers. Get an error message stating amdk8.sys was missing. Got that file from Gilletter, put it in the proper location, rebooted, finished loading the drivers again, still have the same problem. *Bang Head :banghead:

Note that I was not having any problems prior to the upgrade. At that time I was running an MSI mobo with an Athlon 3200+ and 1GB Kingston pc2700 and Catalyst 8.6 drivers. Anyone have any suggestions?

    Random black screen flickering issue

    Win10 Enterprise version 1909 build 18363.720

So I've been trying to troubleshoot an incredibly annoying screen flickering issue for months now.

I have a dual monitor setup, one is an Asus ProArt PA248 connected via Display port, and the other is actually a 32inch Toshiba TV connected via HDMI.

This setup ran fine for years and then one day I started getting a random black screen flicker, some details about the issue:
    - Both monitors flicker together, it isn't isolated to just 1 of them
    - Happens every 5-10 seconds, randomly
    - It can go for days without any issues, and kicks in randomly at random times
    - There's no colors mixed into the flicker, it's pure black

    Some troubleshooting steps I've tried
    - New cables, no luck
    - Messing with every driver I can find, stock windows drivers and all versions of Intel display drivers
    - Someone suggested I bypass the built in Intel display adapter and MB ports & drivers so I bought a cheap GT 1030, was fine for a couple days then the exact same flicker issue started back up, so the issue doesn't even seem to be display/driver/graphic card related
    - Booting into safe mode the issue went away, it could have just been a random coincidence but I found it interesting that the issue stopped while I was in safe mode

My PC hasn't changed much over the years so all the obvious troubleshooting hasn't led anywhere, I'm not sure where to look or what to try next, the PC is a little dated at 6 years but still runs fine otherwise I'd hate to have to build out a new system just because of this issue.
