    Hello Everyone!

alright, so I just updated my windows 10. and, fortunately it doing well.
Here's the thing... when i opened the setting > update & security after I restart the laptop from updating complete, there's still red sign. which I think this isn't normal, right?
I mean shouldn't it be a green check mark? so what happened? is it normal?

fyi : before I try to update, there is something wrong with windows upadate services. it always disabled whenever I turn into automatic. I fix this problem by this post https://thegeekpage.com/windows-update-service-keeps-turning-off/ using method one.

    thank you.

  3. After upgrading to Windows 10, Security warning appears blocking most websites

    Hi Claude,

Thank you for posting on Microsoft Community. I understand the inconvenience you are facing. I will certainly help you with this.

I appreciate if you could answer few questions to narrow down the issue and to provide you better assistance.

    • Does this issue persist in Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer both?
    • Are you connected with any VPN connection?

This problem can occur if the client computer's clock is set so that the date/time is later than the expiry date of the web server's SSL certificate.
I suggest you to check and verify the Date and time are set properly. If issue persist, kindly perform the below given steps and check if it works.

    • In Windows Internet Explorer, click Continue to this website (not recommended).

A red Address Bar and a certificate warning appear.
    • Click the Certificate Error button to open the information window.
    • Click View Certificates, and then click Install Certificate.
    • On the warning message that appears, click Yes to install the certificate.

Please post back with the results and the information asked, we will be glad to assist you further.

    Thanks you.

Windows Media Center - still getting warning messages

    Hello,

I can imagine the inconvenience you have experienced. I will definitely help you with this.

I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps in resolving the issue.

    • In search tab type "Turn Windows features on or off" and click on the link when it prompted.
    • Now look for "Media feature" and expand it by clicking on it.
    • Under media feature you can find "Windows Media Center", un-check the box by clicking it.
    • Next, you will get a little warning box. Just click "yes" because it's asking if your perfectly okay with disabling it.
    • The last step is to reboot. A message saying you must restart the computer will pop up. Just shut it down or restart and log back in.
I hope this information helps. Please do let us know if you need any further assistance.

    Thank You.
