Getting "Restart to repair drive errors" repeatedly

Was watching a youtube video a few hours ago and my computer froze completely. Had to turn off with the power button. When I rebooted it said it was repairing the C drive. After about 10 minutes it gave me message saying "Restart to repair drive errors". I did this and got the same message, repeated it twice. If I go the C drive and select Properties->Tools->Error Checking, it still tells me there's a problem and that I need to restart to prevent data loss and fix my drives. Please help, lots of stuff on this computer I don't want to lose, have only had the system for about 2 and a half

    :)

  2. restart to repair drive errors win 10

    Hi,

The "Restart to repair drive errors" indicates that there's an issue with your hard drive. We suggest that you check this
article and follow the steps under the
Restore from a system restore point section. System restore point takes you back to an earlier point in time. This won’t affect your personal files, but it will remove drivers, updates, and apps installed after the restore point was made.

Get back to us with the result for further assistance.

    repeatedly restarting

We appreciate your response. The error code OxcOOOOOOe usually occurs when one of the drivers on your system failed to coordinate in the Windows booting process. To troubleshoot your concern, we suggest performing an Automatic Or Startup Repair. This process
will repair damaged files that are required to boot a Windows device. This can be done without using an installation disc.

To perform an Automatic or Startup repair, follow these steps:

    • Use the power button to restart your computer three times. This will start the Windows Recovery Environment.
    • In the Choose an option screen, tap or click Troubleshoot.
    • Select Advanced options and then select Startup Repair.
    • Your system will reboot and you'll see a window that indicates that your machine is preparing to perform the repair.
    • Select your user account once the device is on Startup Repair window.
    • Provide the password for your user account.
    • Wait for the Startup Repair process to be completed. Your system will automatically reboot to normal mode once the repair is done.

    Update us with the results.
