Windows 10: Getting Sid Meier's SimGolf to work on Windows 10 / Issues with VirtualBox

HiI am having a lot of trouble trying to get SimGolf to work on Windows 10. I am not able to run in a compatibility mode as it will only allow me to try and run it as administration then it literally does nothing. There is a closed thread regarding the issues with no real instructions on HOW to do certain things. I have also tried to run in VirtualBox but that VirtualBox no longer seems to work in Windows 10. I was just wondering if anyone has any real solutions and can provide step by step instructions?

• Are you getting any error message while installing Sid Meier's SimGolf on the computer?
• Have you checked the compatibility of the program on Windows 10 with manufacturer of the game application?

If you have not tried below steps, then I suggest you to run the
Program Compatibility troubleshooter and try to install the driver. Check if it helps.

1. Type “Troubleshooting” without the quotes on Search bar
next to the Start Menu and click on Troubleshooting.

2. Click on View All the left panel of the screen and then click on
Program Compatibility Troubleshooter.

3. Then click on Next and follow the instructions to install the gaming application on the computer.

Getting SimGolf to work on Windows 10

Hello,

I have tried to switch compatibility modes to every one for Sid Meier's SimGolf. This has not worked on Windows 10. I have downloaded demo versions from the internet that have worked under those compatibility modes for the game. However, I would like the
full version unlocked with the CD that I have.

Any chance I could have some help in finding out how this will work?
