Windows 10: Getting the error, "Oops.. Something went wrong, please try again later!" when trying to...

Been having this error for the past few days, and I've been trying to find a solution. Trying to purchase a premium upgrade through the Huetro app and I'm getting this error. Just reaching out if its an easy solution. Thank you !**Moved from Gaming and Xbox by Moderator

I was getting the same error message that something went wrong and try again later. As suggested, I went to the Windows Update icon in the control panel and found that Windows 10 was still downloading. I imagine when this is complete I will be able to
go to the next step. I think the "next step" is showing prematurely and you have to wait for the download to finish.

This is not the issue! I did redeem the gift card from the very beginning of this thread! The issue is that I don't get the payment options screen when I try to purchase something from the Windows App Store. All I get is Oops something went wrong, try again
later!? So I fail to understand why I am getting no answers on how I can make a game purchase with this nagging message popping up. Why cant I make a game app purchase utilizing my gift card as a payment option?
