Windows 10: Getting this error when trying to play a game downloaded via Game Pass.

Happens on both Wolfenstein3D and Return to Castle Wolfenstein. I have uninstalled and redownloaded both games and still get this error.

im trying to download the game pass app

im trying to download the game pass app on my windows 10 pc and I updated the pc as well. I keep getting an error message and it wont run it.

 

Deathloop not launching - Game Pass PC - Error code: (0x80070102)

Tried all of these and no fix, Deathloop doesn't launch, stuck on the splash screen with "Launching game" and then just goes away, no error code anymore. Every other game pass game I play works, I even downloaded some more games to test; single player games, online only multiplayer games, all work except for Deathloop.

Honestly, I've spent more time trying to fix the issue than I'll probably spend playing the game, which is sad when it's clearly an issue with Xbox Game Pass and it's Deathloop version.

I'm just going to play the PS5 version on Playstation Plus Extra since it actually works.

I suggest pushing this up the chain as the "fixes" you gave me where just further proof of how busted Game Pass for PC is and that people have to do ridiculous things like changing time/date of your system and that nowhere is there an official statement or fix from Microsoft, all the ways around the spaghetti code of Game Pass is found by random users trying to play their games.
