    Getting video file format parameters from File Explorer


    Is there an app that integrates with File Explorer that will allow me to hover over or right-click on a video file and get the basic parameters (at least frame rate and frame dimensions, though codec and runtime would also be nice)? Is this already built into Windows 10 and I just don't know about it? Thanks.

    File Explorer has gone crazy after last nights upgrade.

    My only has icons instead of full descriptions. I can not get back to a point where I have tabs that actually say something. Please tell me how to get my view repaired? help... Help.... HELP!!!

    How do I stop video automatic playing in file explorer

    Where exactly in File Explorer is this happening?

    I have video files in the Videos folder in File Explorer and they are just basic thumbnails.

    What is the format of the video file?

    Is it the thumbnail that is auto playing or when you launch the file from File Explorer?

    Yes, it is. Right-click on a video file, select Properties, then click on the Detail tab. Everything you asked for (except for codec) should be there...
