Windows 10: Getting watchdog_violation blue screen after Windows Update

Hello all

I am using Windows 10 Pro ( 10.0.18363 Build 18363)

This has happened to me before as well and i have not been able to update my OS and it happened tonight as well.

Whenever my windows is finished updating and restarts the PC, i get a blue screen with the error code of DPC_Watchdog_Violation

I have resolved this by rolling back the update but i don't know if this is the right way to do so

In the windows update history, i see these updates that were unable to be installed :

Feature update to Windows 10, version 20H2

Failed to install on ‎3/‎18/‎2021 - 0x80242016

Any idea why this is happening ? What exactly is causing the crash / blue screen after the update ?

Can anyone help me out ?

Startup Blue Screen

Windows 7 Blue Screen of Death!

This is the first time i have ever got the blue screen, but it keeps on occurring, and so i cannot get onto that hard drive, it shuts down within a second of the blue screen showing itself, which doesnt give me any time to read it lol. So i am completely confused as there is no Path of: "C:\WINDOWS\Minidump" as well
