Windows 10: Getting "we can't sign into your account,"

About two years ago, I had this problem, and was told at that time to create another profile as an "administrator." I did that, and have not had any problems since. But yesterday, after trying to start up my computer, there was a very long delay, and then that screen appeared, saying "we can't sign into your account. The problem can be fixed by signing out of your account and then signing in." Of course, when I do that, the same pop up appears every time. I created another administrator profile, which solves the problem of the pop up. But my questions are, 1 What causes this? 2 Can it be avo

The error code that your are getting when adding an account is usually caused by the following:

• Your phone has an incorrect date and time set.
• You do not have a data connection.
• Your phone is in a "bad state."

I suggest you to follow the steps provided below and check if it helps.

• Navigate to Start>Settings>Accounts.
• In the left pane, click on sign-in options.
• In the right pane select Never from the drop down list for the option
  Require sign-in.

Can anyone tell me how to delete these accounts from GMail ?
