Windows 10: Getting wifi radio is off hw switch for tablet

Hello,


2 years back, I have bought AMD Elite Mobility tablet with Win 8.1 OS with all WiFi/Bluetooth capability.


Tablet Name : Xolo WT10 tablet


Recently, I have upgraded it to Win10 and since then i'm not able to enable the WiFi/Bluetooth capability on the tablet. I have tried below options


1. Upgraded the drivers manually copying from other machine

2. Unchecked the Power Management option under Network Driver/Advance/Power Management

3. Used tablet in-screen keyboard layout and used Fn keys to enable the WiFi radio

4. Reset the ports/DNS etc and restarted

5. Deleted the WLAN Driver and restarted

6. Installed AMD Radeon S/w to enable the radio switch. But moment i enable it, it is disabling the radio immediately.


Few things that I have noticed

1. When I diagnose it with Troubleshooter, it says "radio is off hw switch"

2. Not able to see Wireless option under Windows Mobility Center

3. Not able see Wireless LAN option under the BIOS

4. There is no physical key to enable to the WiFi in the tablet


Please let me know how we can enable to the Wifi radio hw ON for this device

Airplane mode switch not working

Since the troubleshooting steps that were provided did not resolve the issue, we suggest switching on the Radio Management Service. To do that, please follow the steps below:

• Press Windows key + R.
• Type services.msc, then hit Enter.
• Search for Radio Management Service.
  
• Right-click, then choose Start.

Note: Never ever set this service to "Disabled".

Get back to us if the steps won't work.

 

6280 switching off radio problem

Hi all.

When using radio on my 6280 I disconnect hands-free (from the sales package) and receive message "Connect an enhancement". It’s ok.

But I receive the same message when I try to switch off the radio! So to switch it off I should connect hands-free and only then I will have possibility to switch the radio off. Looks like a bug.

WiFi connection problems HTC TyTn

This is common in all windows mobile devices(both professional and standard). When the device goes into standby mode, the operating system tells the WiFi radio to switch itself off. That is why you loose the connection. When you again turn it on,
the OS tells the wifi radio to turn itself on again. This time, it may or may not reconnect by itself. If it does not, there is no need to turn the phone off and on. Just follow these steps:

• go to start> settings
• go to connections tab
• go to wifi
• select your wifi network. tap and hold on it and select "connect".
