  1. "Getting Windows ready / Don't turn off.." >20 min, but no new updates

Around 9:10, I told my desktop computer to shutdown. It went to a "Getting Windows ready / Don't turn off your computer"

At 9:33, it was still going with no progress update, and it suddenly turned off. When I turned it back on, there were no new updates installed.

It's done something like this at least once before. Any clue why it takes so long with no status updates. I don't recall my laptop ever doing this.

    :)

Windows 10 Has Pixelated Font during setup

Hi, I'd also like to say that when installing on my PC, it takes more than 8 hours just to get files ready for installation. It also sometimes stops for 30 min. at the 6, and 81% when getting the files ready. After "Getting Ready", the computer just turns
off. After that, when I turn it on, it turns of shortly after. I know this isn't a power supply problem, as it doesn't turn off if it stays on BIOS.

My computer is stuck on "Getting windows ready" Don't turn off computer. When I turned it off and on it does the same thing. Before I restarted from the desktop it told me to restart for the windows update, now I cannot get back to the desktop.

  5. The issue was when I restarted, the Windows Update update history registered no new updates installed.

Do you know what the update was? If it was the AU it won't show any updates until the first update after the AU upgrade. Or at least that's been my experience on all my computers.
