Windows 10: Getting Windows ready long time

Hi everyone, on my Windows 11 PC I restarted the device and it said ‘getting Windows ready, please don’t turn off your pc’ with a spinning circle and a black screen.This is unusual as normally there’s a percentage.This went on for a few hours so I hard shut down the device and turned it back on it and looking at update history the update was successfully installed.Do I need to be concerned? Was the action I took okay? Not sure whether I need to reset the device. Thanks!
