Windows 10: Getting Wrong digit verification code for Microsoft account login.

Hello,This is my alternate Microsoft account. I cannot access my original Microsoft account because wrong digit verification code, I receive a 6-digit single-use code, but when I type the code, it says "Please enter the 7-digit code. The code only contains numbers". I do not remember my password. I also can't reset my account password because of same issue, always getting 6-digit single use code.I also tried account recovery option, but my request always gets rejected because " Unfortunately, our automated system has determined that the information you provided was not sufficient for us t

Getting four digit verification code

Getting four digit verification code sent to email and text instead of 7. I am unable to get into my account when I go threw all the microsoft steps and fill out a form it sends me an email that says they can not help me because I have two Authenticator on. I need my email !

I understand you're not receiving a verification code for your Microsoft account. If your security info's are up to date, you may be experiencing delays receiving the code which I have also experienced before. But if you have already waited too long and have made a couple of attempts, I suggest following the suggested steps in the "Troubleshooting verification code issues" section on the support page below.

I understand that you are receiving a wrong verification code for email verification, we will look into this for you. However, please reply with the following details to assist you further:

• Where exactly do you get the prompt/notification to verify the email address?
  
• How are you trying to verify the email?
  

However, you can try using other options to request the verification code i.e. requesting the code over a call or as a text to your phone number and see if that helps in resolving the issue.
