Windows 10: .gif Desktop for my Windows 10

Hello, I am using a Windows 10 Home Laptop with HP Brand. In Windows 95, NT4, 98 (SE), 2000 and ME, you could use .gif files for desktop, in WIndows XP and later, they've removed the compatibility, and I am Windows 10 Home Laptop x64 HP. I want an application that can play .gif files in the desktop (Build 1607). These are my failed applications:


BioniX, the most popular choice: Someone downloaded an annoying antivirus and everytime I go to the download site, an antivirus pop-up appears saying that the page has viruses


DreamScene: It only works with Windows 7 (What I know by now). I've also tried it on a VM but it's hard to play the file


Plastuer: My parents do not let me use their money since I wanted to buy a Microsoft SideWinder Gamepad and it costed USD12.00. I've tried to put how much I am gonna pay to $0, but the website thought I was gonna pay


CCS: It uses a lot of space (luckily, I have 513 GB Free in C and it's so hard to memorize the location, that if you run the installer again, it's so smart that it puts you into Repair/Uninstall dialog and when I click repair, nothing happened, and I don't want the download to take awhile. I've also searched in explorer but it takes an eternity and appeared an unnecessary amount of x86 and amd64 files

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

DTS supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 and it should work on windows 10 too just DDL require to unlock your driver .

 

windows 10 deleted my desktop files

Step 1 - I upgraded to Win 10 and lost all my files on Desktop.

Step 2 - Found the files in Network - USers- Desktop

copied all files again to desktop.

Step 3- Restarted my machine again and lost desktop files again.

Step 4 - As suggested did the following as listed below but dont find my files.

• Press “Windows + E”, open This PC/Computer
• Open Local Disc C, open Windows.old
• Click on Users, select your User name
• Go to desktop folder

Cant find my files. Why is Win 10 deleted files again and again from Desktop ?.
