Windows 10: Gifting already purchased game and realms Minecraft

Hi, I recently bought Minecraft Java and Bedrock. I only play in Java due to preference. Is there a way to gift the Bedrock edition to someone else while keeping my Java? Follow up question: I tried to join a realm, but it only opens Bedrock, is there a way to change that?

There should be no difference between Minecraft purchased from the Microsoft Store and Mojang website as they are cross-platform play compatible. You can join/invite people in a Realm as long as they are also listed as Xbox Live friends.
