Lumia " The Future is Here "

what kind of future if the Lumia phone lacks a lof functionalities ... mostly software wise, is it Nokia !? is it Microsoft is it both ?! I don't know know the B2B between those 2 ... but as a Lumia 820 owner .. I expected that the latest firmware will have
major changes for 1.20 GB file !! but it doesn't !!



I think Windows Phone should have the following:





1 ) Update option shouldn't be through wifi only !! as wifi is not always a reliable connection !! a software suite for PC will give more confidence for owners to update their phone software without briking their phones, as we all know Nokia cares for customers
as compared to other manufacturers hope Nokia will tell Microsoft about it



2) reverse tethering is non-existant in the Lumia WP8, WHY ?!?! people at office or business find this functionality very useful especially when updating !! USB is much more faster than Wi-Fi



3) Static IP configuration for Wifi !! and WPS option too !!



4) Windows Server Domain / Active directory enrollement



5) File manager for WP8



6) Camera needs more " EXPLANATORY " friendly option terms !! like choosing a resolution instead of an ISO code !!



8) internet explorer on WP8 is nothing related to the real internet explorer !! is it even a browser !?



9) Ability to organize pictures from inside the Lumia WP8 itself and creating new albums, renaming pics and move them from album to another !!



10) Wi-Fi signal indicator: Poor - Good - Excellent !! which will make us know where should we position ourselves !!



11) People on my phone don't necessarily have to be on FACEBOOK, HOTMAIL nor any other online service !! I want a normal Phone Book !! ...facebook hotmail twitter addresses should be optional !!



12) Native lock screen background rotation that doesn't eat the battery



13) Fix Skype calling ( w/o ) camera sound issues and screen blanking out when putting the phone near my ear .... also a speaker out option wouldn't hurt !!





I moved away from android because it was very noisy, I expected WP8 to be my portable Windows Desktop version .. a fully fledged experience that I can rely on, not another android copy-cat !!



Android success was because there was no competition and I strongly believe that customers want to be in their native windows enviorement each time they work on a Lumia !!



you can't claim the future with wireless charging only !! that's a prestige not a way of life !!
