Windows 10: Gigabyte AORUS Gaming box not installing properly on ASUS ROG G752VY.

Hello.

Im posting this in hardware section because i'm not sure if this fits in the graphics card section.

As the title says i have an ASUS ROG G752VY laptop...

Bought myself the 1080 Aorus gaming box.

When i connect it to my TB3 port, Win 10 detects the GPU as video controller adapter, and i am unable to update its drivers, or any driver at all from this point on, until i shutdown the laptop. (driver installation process starts and just hangs until operation time is exceeded and it auto-ends).

Tried to tweak operation time to some rather insane amount of time, did not help...

The laptop won't restart normally or shutdown via the normal process after connecting the box.

Only hard shutdown helps...

Why does this happen, and how can i solve it without reinstalling windows...?

Ive got a portable SSD with windows 10 install on it (same build) and that install does detect the card normally and has no hang problem...

Tried removing and reinstalling TB3 software, reinstalling the TB3 driver, nothing helps...

FYI, Aorus is part of Gigabyte, as their "extreme gaming" line, much like Asus's RoG.

I am planning on getting a gaming laptop and my #1 choice is the Asus ROG that is on sale on the online Microsoft store. I have heard split reviews about the Asus, some saying that it simply doesn't turn on to some saying it is fantastic. It obviously
has a lot of capabilities and looking at its specs, it has a very powerful system however is it reliable enough for me to purchase or will it just be a waste of time. If it isn't reliable, then what would be a good backup computer to purchase.

Cheap Photo box that will get the job done

WEll i took on this project for PP hes a hardware reviewer and wants to get the professional looking pics for the Pc parts

Materials:

• Big cardboard box

• a razor

• white material 3 yards

• cone lights

• stapler

• medical tape

• pvc pipe about 6 inches longer than your box

• white paint any cheap finger paint would work

the project I'm guessing will cost me $30 if it works out properly
I will post pictures and step by step as i do it
