    Gigabyte Lan connection randomly slowing down


    Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD5 motherboard, Gigabyte Lan using cat8 cable; connector shows Gigabyte connected speed to netgear GS308E 8 port switch latest firmware also highest rated speed, have run speed test with windows 10 app and online in Chrome, the first test shows my rated speed of 200MBPS but every other test tanks at only a few Mbps, I have gone into device manager and reset the adapter as win10 changed things. On my other win10 PC with another of the same switch there is are no issues, it to is a Gigabyte Lan connection with a 50ft cable going to the switch.The switch with the issue has on

    the board is a Gigabyte GA-K8NE with a nVidia nForce4 chipset (the LAN also being nforce tech) any suggestions?

    Good LAN party games?

    Most of my suggestions have already been listed.

    However, I found Swat4 to actually be a pretty fun LAN game, especially at smaller LAN parties.

    Gigabyte Lan connection randomly slowing down

    Lan and wifi connection switching randomly

    Am running Windows 10 homewith HP laptop. I am connected directly to my cable/phone modem and, also, have installed Netgear router connected to modem. My internet connection keeps on changing from LAN to Netgear wifi. It is bothersome when trying to download and surf. Not sure whether it's a Windows problem or Netgear problem. Any suggestions would be helpful.
