Windows 10: Give this another try: My laptop is not recognizing my camera, but in device manager it...

Greetings:


Let me try again. I thought it can't hurt. I have a camera that has always til now worked fine with my windows laptops, I have the calbe it came with, Canon cable, canon camera, but this morning it stopped being recognized and thus, I was not able to transfer photos to my notebook.

I am able to do this by removing the card and putting it into the computer. It is a pain. I would love to find out how to remedy the problem.


I have Windows 10 pro 64 bit. NOT windows s. I an HP probook 450 G7.


The camera is listed in device manager. There is no exclamation mark, it ist listed, however, under properties it says the camera is not connected -- even when it is connected and powered on.


I also tried to update the driver and it says I have the best driver I don't know if that it true but it has a driver.


I also this morning downloaded the driver to the camera, but I don't think it installed. I am too new to windows 10 to really know how to deal with this. I am not happy with windows 10. I find it too fraught with difficulties like this.


But I would be grateful for any help on how to fix this. I checked the core system or whatever and that is NOT on. So, I am at a loss.

USB sound/midi device not recognized

I have a Technics PR804 keyboard attached to my Windows 10 laptop through USB. I've installed the drivers that came with my keyboard by entering compatibility mode to Windows ME, but the device manager won't recognize the hardware when it's turned on and
plugged into my laptop. I've seen instructions online indicating that device manager should identify the keyboard as a sound device, and that I should be able to choose folder location for correct driver, but can't complete this step as device manager does
not list the keyboard as an available device.

Any suggestions?

Laptop Camera

Thanks for providing the results after completing the steps we provided. Since you're still getting the error message “Your camera cannot be found” along with the error code "0xA00F4244 (0xC00DABED)", we suggest that you follow the steps below
to reset the Camera app on your Windows 10 computer:

• Press the Windows Key + I to open the Settings app.
• From the options presented select System, then click on
  Apps & features located on the left pane.
• Locate the Camera app from the list and select it.
• Select the Advanced options link and then choose Reset.
• When the pop-up notification is shown just click on the Reset
  button once more.
• Once all the steps are complete, kindly reboot your computer.

Completing this steps will clear the cache of the Camera app and allow it to re-recognize any video capture devices connected to your computer.
