Frequently get error 0x8009002d when signing in with pin

I tried Glary Utilities too, and it seemed to work, but after about two weeks, the error reappeared.

Maybe Glary Utilities never fixed anything?

Maybe Glary Utilities fixes the problem, and Windows Update recreates it?

It does seem like a registry issue, so I am inclined to think it’s the latter.

 

Error 0xc0000020. C:/Windows/system32/ActXPrxy.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error.

My windows is already updated, thus an update is impossible.

I performed a registry clean operation using the tool Glary Utilities Pro 5.60 (Glary Utilities - Free System Utilities to Clean Registry, Fix PC Errors, Protect Privacy | Glarysoft) and the operation performed successfully, however the issue still remains. Any other ideas?

It's probably just a glitch on their end of the line.

I tried download again and I get

" The signature of gu5setup.exe is corrupt or invalid "

or you could try Softpedia, for example.

No specific idea why it's corrupt.. mine was updated today ok.
