    So I posted about this before and the issue was never solved.I presently use ShareX for my screenshots, but this happens with every other program, including the built-in Snipping Tool. It's not a program-based issue.Currently, my PC version is Windows 10 Version 21H2 OS Build 19044.1889, but as the original thread shows, this happened in prior versions as well.It persisted across two different PCs. The only connection between the two is my monitor and my Microsoft account. I am unsure if a monitor can cause such a thing or not, but I'm also not sure how a Microsoft account could cause it, ei

    glitching screen and glitching videos

    Hello,

    Recently my laptop screen started to freckle\glitch while playing videos either on the internet or on my laptop so I followed steps suggested as to uninstall and re-install the graphics update however, it happened again not so long after I did that (1 day later) and I fixed the display and so it stopped but the videos appear to be glitched? like I could see the RGB (there is a color stroke that appears ONLY while watching videos and I tried to take a screenshot and while trying to trim the photo I found it looking normal so it's only via videos

    I'm using HP ENVY Laptop - DESKTOP -LUQEG7V

    Hi, Andre

    I tried each step, and each one produced the same result: the glitch persists.

    I was told by a friend that it may be a corrupt login profile, and that I need to remake my account on the computer. I sincerely hope this is not the case, as I have a lot of stuff on my profile at present and do not want to reset/lose it.

    Hi Josey -

    Thanks for the quick reply. While your suggestion does change the sign in process, it doesn't address the differing screenshot question. Following the steps doesn't make the login screenshot the same as the Lock screenshot. As I mentioned, I can't even find the screenshots being used for both screens.

    Still looking a solution to this. Open to any other suggestions you might have to the problem. Thanks!
