For about two months I have been getting BSOD every few days and I cannot figure out the cause as the BSOD screen itself is glitchy so I cannot read any error message, first I thought maybe its a hardware issue as my motherboard had come back from RMA around the same time the BSOD started but I was not getting any chrashes on Linux, which I also run on my PC alongside Windows 11, only windows will crash to a BSOD. I then thought maybe it is the undervolt I am running on my CPU and GPU that might be causing issues somehow but it still crashed after removing those undervolts. And today my crashe

  2. Computer Glitching After Previous BSOD

Responding to your first reply, was that what driver verifier tripped up on? The netfilter2.sys?

It took a while, but I have followed your suggestions and scanned my computer with all of the different programs that you suggested and all of them turned up empty.

I also have heard recently about people having a bunch of issues with windows update KB4549951 causing random BSODs and just general computer problems and glitches. I decided to give uninstalling that update a shot, but alas, no dice. Problem still exists.

What might be the next step here to finding the culprit?

It might be totally unhelpful and unrelated, but one of my friends said it almost seems like there could possibly be some issue with my motherboard physically, such as some component flaking out after that amount of time, but it seems unlikely with a restart
    temporarily fixing the issue.

    glitching screen and glitching videos

    Hello,

Recently my laptop screen started to freckle\glitch while playing videos either on the internet or on my laptop so I followed steps suggested as to uninstall and re-install the graphics update however, it happened again not so long after I did that (1 day later) and I fixed the display and so it stopped but the videos appear to be glitched? like I could see the RGB (there is a color stroke that appears ONLY while watching videos and I tried to take a screenshot and while trying to trim the photo I found it looking normal so it's only via videos

I'm using HP ENVY Laptop - DESKTOP -LUQEG7V

Video glitches and BSODs after KB3199209 installed

My machine wasn't set up to produce dump files so I had to change that. I read some posts that suggested the crashes were associated with power settings so I changed the power scheme from Balanced to High Performance and shut the machine down instead
putting it to sleep at night. BSoDs stopped but the screen blanking and video glitches (dropped pixels and persistent pixels when switching between windows) didn't so I backed out of the update only to have KB3197954 and KB3199986 applied yesterday.

Still getting the occasional screen blanking and other video glitches but so far no crashes. I'm tempted to leave things as they are at present but if I get a crash I'll send the dump files.

    Thanks.
