    Recently it has started to happen that whenever the laptop is locked the lock screen would have a glitch like image attached. What could the problem be, Is it some windows bug or faulty hardware.

    Specs are HP omen 15 2018

    Ci7 8th gen

    256 GB NVMe

    1TB HDD

    16 GB Ram

    Nvidia 1060 max Q design 6GB

    Glitching After Updating To Windows 10

    Hi Ahsiek,

    Display errors might have caused by an incompatible drivers. For us to isolate the issue, we would like to know the following:

    • What is the
      build number and version of your Windows      ?
    • When you say glitch, does it mean that the screen flickers?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?
    • What is the make and model of your Windows 10 laptop?

    In the meantime, we suggest that you update the graphics driver of your Windows 10 by following the steps given on this article:

    Laptop with broken screen How much?

    I would like suggestions and look in local stores. I dont wanna buy a laptop from someone online. Sorry. But could be a good idea if you asked him about the performance on older games. Gonna make a list ofall laptops people suggest me.

    Remove the screen for space purpose here its small desk and if the screen is opened it will hide my 22 inches lcd
