Windows 10: Global move to foundation not working for Microsoft Freecell Collection Free

I have been playing Microsoft Freecell Collection Free for quite a while using the global auto-move feature. This morning, global complete was not working. I checked in advance options and global move was not longer high-lighted. I don't know why this change, but I clicked to turn it on again. According to the message, I needed to restart the app to have the change take effect. However, when I ended the app and then turned it on again, it had reverted back to not permitting global auto-fill. Has something changed on the game in the last couple of days to account for this problem.

Freecell no longer works after a recent update

Windows 10 is designed to work with a different version of FreeCell, which is bundled with the built-in Microsoft Solitaire Collection. To play FreeCell, follow these steps:

• Click Start.
• Find and click Microsoft Solitaire Collection from the list of apps.
• Click FreeCell.

If Microsoft Solitaire Collection has been uninstalled previously, you may follow these steps to reinstall it:

• Click Start.
• Open the Store app.
• Type Microsoft Solitaire Collection in the Search bar and click the result.
• Click Install.

Start -> All apps -> Microsoft Solitaire Collection (right click to pin to start) -> Freecell

There are also several other versions of FreeCell available in the Store.

Microsoft Solitaire Collection Freecell

Today's (01/08/17) "hard" Freecell challenge requires two kings to be played to the foundation within 95 moves. As soon as you get close to the end, autoplay starts and puts all the cards up in order and uses up one's last few moves! If I could play manually
I would solve the challenge.
