Windows 10: Global Protect VPN, PANGP Virtual Ethernet Adapter missing

HI, after upgrade to Windows 10, version 1903 ‎20.‎5.‎2020, I have experienced problem with GlobalProtect VPN.

GP stack on connect button and do nothing. I have noticed that PANGP Virtual Ethernet Adapter missing in device driver list.

I have done several uninstall an install of GP and without success.

The main reason for issue is non existing PANGP Virtual Ethernet Adapter missing in device driver list for my opinion.

After new installation of GP driver does not appear in network driver list.

I have cleaned all from registry related to GP, delete install folder and etc. along with uninstall.

So I need help.

IP configuration not valid - interference from ethernet adapter?

Solution 1: No Internet Access In Windows 8.1or Windows 10

Step 1:

Go to Device Manager → Network adapters.
Step 2:

Expand it (Network adapters).


Step 3:

Select your network adapter


Step 4:

Right click on your wireless network adapter or Ethernet adapter and then tap “Update Driver Software”.
(in this case your network adopter is Ethernet adopter so tap your Ethernet adapter)
Step 5:

Now on a new window you will need to click on “Browse my computer for driver software”.




Step 6:

Then select “Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer”.



Step 7:

Now choose the “Manufacturer’s drivers” from the list of two and then click next.



Step 8:

After the completion of the process just restart your PC and check if the problem is solved or not. If not, goto solution 2.



Solution 2: No Internet Access In Windows 8.1,windows10

Step 1:

Open command prompt.
Step 2:

Just go on hitting the enter after typing the each command.
netsh int tcp set heuristics disabled
netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=disable
netsh int tcp set global rss=enabled
Step 3:

Now to check if the settings are disabled type:
netsh int tcp show global
then hit enter.
Step 4:

Now the thing left is just rebooting your system and just check if the problem is solved or not and just give feedback.*chuckle*Thumbs

Hi everyone.
I am not an expert about Vpn and that's why I would like to know if someone could list me a few trusted Vpns, I would really appreciate any suggestion/ advice.

Microsoft Hosted Virtual Network Adapter is Missing

Hi Arthur,

There's a possibility that the Internet Connection Sharing is not enabled on your machine. To enable it, follow the steps below:

• Right-click the Windows key, then select Network Connections.
• Right-click the network adapter with an Internet connection (could be Ethernet or wireless network adapter), then select
  Properties.
• Click Sharing tab.
• Under Internet Connection Sharing, check the Allow other network users to connect through this computer’s Internet connection option.
  
• On the Home networking connection drop-down menu, select the
  Microsoft Hosted Virtual Adapter.
• Click OK to finish.
