Windows 10: gmail query

Discus and support gmail query in Browsers and Email to solve the problem; When I was using gmail with Windows 8.1 I could click on 'gmail' at the top of the page and could get at my contacts.     When I was using gmail with Windows 8.1 I could click on 'gmail' at the top of the page and could get at my contacts. I can't seem to be able to do that now that I am using W10.

    Anyone any ideas please?

    5800 - GMail Query

    You can set-up either a POP/IMAP mailbox for Gmail on the 5800 provided you have activated either one of the two in your Gmail forwarding and POP settings on your Gmail account when logged in.



    The set-up wizard on the device will help you configure the mailbox once you have done this and you can then edit the mailbox settings to check and notify you of e-mail at specified time intervals.

    Is there a way to get the 5800 to notify you when you get a new email to your gmail?

    Can you provide a little more detail please? How are you reading your Gmail, from a webmail page or from within the Windows Mail app?

    I use Gmail from within the W10 Mail app and the contacts are now part of the W10 people app.
