Windows 10: GNS3 VM "KVM Support Available: False" on VirtualBox Windows 11

Dear all Microsoft Agents,I have computer and laptop, my computer uses windows 10 and my laptop uses windows 11. Both installed GNS3 and VirtualBox. On my computer the KVM on GNS3 VM VirtualBox is True, while on my laptop is False. I have enabling virtualization on BIOS, disabling Hyper-V on windows feature and enabling nested VT-x/AMD-V on VirtualBox but the KVM still False. I wonder there's problem with windows 11 while windows 10 can run it. Hopefully, there is a solution that can solve this.

GNS3 Virtualization Issue in Windows 11

Dear All,

Seem like there is an issue with the Windows 11, GNS3 VM run in Virtualbox, and VMware Workstation Pro appear to issue that VT-x is false or otherwise. My CPU supports this feature, and I did some research. They suggested disabling Hyper-V, Virtual Machine Platform, and Memory Integrity and running some commands to disable the services hypervisor, and still, it doesn't work. The best thing is, in Windows 10, there is no issue at all. Hopefully, there is a solution that can solve this.

Problem activating Windows 11 after switching VMs

Hi there,

I purchased Windows 11 Home a couple of months ago and installed it on a VirtualBox VM. But VirtualBox was crashing quite a bit so I deactivated Windows 11 using the following commands:

• slmgr /upk
  
• slmgr /cpky
  

(as suggested on Redirecting ) and then installed it on a VMWare VM. Problem is, I can't activate Windows on the new VM even though it was deactivated on the old VM. I tried the recommended Troubleshooting Wizard solutions to no available and I couldn't find a Microsoft email address or support number, so I am posting here. Can anyone suggest how to contact Microsoft about this activation issue?

PS: I have already deleted the old VM so I can't log back onto it.

Hope you are doing great, I am aware of the present situation is that GNS3 VM run in Virtualbox, and VMware Workstation Pro appear to issue that VT-x is false.



With great effort of inquiry, for the function of VMware and Virtualbox are beyond the supported scope of community, I can say with doubtless that your knowledge will be broader than mine in this regard.

However, this problem does not occur in Windows 10 systems, assuming your CPU supports virtualization and it is correctly turned on in the BIOS settings, other causes of this problem may be nested virtualization in Windows 11 and other Compatibility issues with virtual machine software.
