Windows 10: Goddamn desktop icons

How do I stop my icons from moving every damn time on my desktop...

Each time I turn on my computer, my icons just reset position (obviously a big ol' mess). I tried unchecking icons automatic reorganisation... doesn't work. I tried turning of the grid... still won't do.

Any ideas how to stop them doing this?

Remove Linux Desktop Icons

I am not sure whether this will work (Ubuntu does not have icons like that on the desktop by default), but I suggest opening the trash bin and sweeping the icons into the window showing the trash bin.

 

Desktop Icons Won't Stay Put

As per the issue description I understand that you are facing issues with desktop icons.

• Click on view
• Check the option auto arrange icons.
