Windows 10: GoDir feature for explorer folder bar typing

-mandatory: sometimes once a day index all folder names command dir /s /b /ad /-p /-w>>listdatabase.txt for each drive - this takes about a minute or so.-open folder or list of results from comparing the *last part* of the folder name and the typed name from explorer folder bar-have a shortcut way that always will open certain system presets, or display list of results, or open 1 folder foundfrom: Freeware software GoDir by EatMe has a manual "List" indexing button.It opens the folder compared from the *last part* of the listed folders, case insensitive, or displays a list.

Now that is interesting. If I do what you suggest, File Explorer Address bar changes to C:\Users\username\documents and the missing ICONS are there. But there is still not a "Desktop" folder.

Is this a step in the right direction?

Unfortunately, I had already followed those steps. I took screenshots showing my config in case it helps. The "autocomplete" or "autosuggest" feature is effectively turned off. Here are the steps to reproduce:

1. I enter this address manually in File Explorer: "C:\Windows"
2. I close File Explorer and reopen it
3. I start typing "C:\W..." and it doesn't pop up. I believe this is the autocomplete/autosuggest feature that is disabled and working correctly.
4. However, instead of typing, if I click on the dropdown arrow, I see "C:\Windows" in the list. This is the part I'm trying to get rid of.
