    Going from an old computer SDD WIn 10 pro to new Win 11 pro SSD - Cloning?


    Hello,I am going to build or have a new desktop computer built that will have a 2TB SSD and will purchase a Windows 11 Pro operating system. I currently have a Windows 10 Pro with a 2TB HDD. I would like to be able to have all of the programs and data from the old computer "transferred" to the new computer.Would I first update the old computer to Windows 11 Pro then clone it to the new one with a new Windows 11 Pro in it.? I was told it could not be done that way and I would have to reinstall all of my old programs in it.What advice can you give me?Thanks for the help.

    Win 10 pro repair

    Installed new SSD last night . Did a clean install of Win 10 pro . Will probably clone what's on the old SSD to recover whatever I can. This is an old Dell XPS 1645 laptop from 2007. We think the last Win 10 update ((22H2) prep for Win 11 messed up the drivers .

    Transfer Win 10 Pro upgrade to New Computer with Win 10 Home

    I have purchased a new computer with Win 10 Home.

    I have an old computer which was upgraded from Win 10 Home to Win 10 Pro. It is activated digitally.

    I want to down grade the old computer to Win 10 Home and upgrade the new one from Win 10 Home to Win 10 Pro.

    The cost of the upgrade package is more that the old computer is worth.

    I have Acronis 2020 and can clone the old system to the new one but that won't fix the Digital License.

    Help please.

    Putting SSD with activated Win 10 pro from an old laptop to a new one

    Hello

    My Lenovo G570 laptop monitor has been damaged beyond repair. I can use the laptop monitor for limited work, so repairing would cost more than a second hand laptop. So I wish to buy a used laptop and to insert my SSD with activated Win 10 pro from the
    old (Lenovo G570) laptop into the new one. To repeat, Win 10pro OS was activated in the old (Lenovo G570) laptop, so I would place the SSD with the activated Win 10 pro from the old to a new laptop.

    My question is:

    After putting my SSD with activated Win 10 pro from the old (Lenovo G570) to a new laptop, would my activated Win 10 pro from the old laptop work in the new laptop? That is, will I lose the valid license for Win 10 pro if
    I swap the Win 10 pro with SSD between the laptops?
